Meet the ZTeam member: Julia Cohan

Written by Investis Digital

Welcome to the fifth installment of our employee spotlight series. We’d like to take some time and introduce you to Julia Cohan, SEO Analyst at ZOG Digital.

Julia is a digital PR and SEO maven. A graduate of The University of Arizona, she quickly settled in at ZOG Digital. She thrives when it comes to SEO and its quick-paced environment. When she’s not helping clients achieve the best results, she’s hanging out with her many dogs or out hiking.

When did you first join the ZTeam? What was your starting position?

I started at ZOG Digital in June 2016 as a Link Builder on the SEO team.

What's your favorite day of the week and why?

Fridays because of Bring Your Dog to Work day. Saturday and Sunday are great, too.

What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue?

I would probably try and get into legitimate wine collecting or food photography.

Who's your go-to band or artist when you can't decide on something to listen to?

Cage The Elephant, Andre Nickatina, or Alabama Shakes.

What's the dumbest thing you've done that actually turned out pretty well?

I've brought home animals and didn't exactly tell the truth about where they came (on more than one occasion). I ended up keeping both as pets.

If you had to choose between becoming a vegetarian or only eating meat for the rest of your life, which would you choose – And why?

I'd probably choose meat because honestly, all my favorite meals involve meat. And life is too short for that.

What's your go-to Phoenix activity?

Eating, hiking, and pools days. Being outside with good food, drinks, and company would be my go-to activity anywhere.

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

Own a pet or travel. Basically, anything that will connect you with other people and animals.

If you were put into solitary confinement for six months, what would you do to stay sane?

Write new episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

"Who Let The Dogs Out, A Memoir"
